@soram Yes, this is a beta version, you will get an official version soon, please keep an eye on the router web GUI or on the Tether app for any updates.

@Kevin_Z

Just for the sake of reporting, another collapse on 2.4 GHz.

@Kevin_ZAs there are some issues related to the beta version of the onemesh firmware, I guess the official release date of the new firmware version will be further delayed. Am I right?

Hello @Scott79

For your information and for all those who continue to be interested in this whole saga.

I'm in regular contact with technical support, and on Friday last was instructed to perform certain steps, which I am doing and continue to supply them with logs.

Incidentally, these steps are specific to my setup, so I've been asked not to go into the details on the forum.

Basically, the situation is somewhat improved, although I continue to suffer link rate and/or speed drops on the 2.4 GHz bands of both RE505X extenders.

Best regards

Maciej

Hi @Maciej

Yeah I'm also in a test process with TP-Link engineers.

I really have no idea whats going on with mine it's become unreliable and the network is slow with lag on most devices.

Link speeds between RE505X and the router AX11000 on 2.4ghz are between 130mbps and 144mbps yet devices are struggling to connect from time to time.

I've played with the channel numbers and used a WiFi analyzer to understand whats going on and every device on the network shares the same channel and channel band but I have an additional series of hidden networks which look like that are causing interference.

Anyway feeding logs back today to hopefully get some feedback.

Best of luck

Scott

@Kevin_Z I'd like to get off this beta mesh firmware. The router will not allow me to roll back to a factory firmware. How do we do that? Tried loading manually it fails.

Hello @xokia

I've noticed this as well, you can't revert to the last official release.

Guess this is deliberate on their part, trying to keep people testing the most recent (beta) firmware.

@Maciej  it's absurd. Beta means it's not fully tested. You should always be able to roll back from beta. I'd like to return my router and go with something else since mesh isn't really supported with this line of routers. I guess I could return it with beta firmware.

Hello @xokia

I fundamentally agree with you, withdrawing from a beta should be possible, however I suppose manufacturers make their own rules.

By the way, have you had the chance of testing out a mesh setup, or do you just have the two AX11000s which you mentioned in one of your earlier posts?
