Model: Archer C9
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 2017-05-11

The WPA2 KRACK attack vulnerability has been well known in the industry since 2017. The paper can be found here: https://www.krackattacks.com/

I'm trying to mitigate this attack on the Archer C9 V2. The problem is the latest firmware is from 2017-05-11 which does not address this issue.

Newer versions of the hardware have this issue fixed, for example V3 has firmware from 2017-12-15 which clearly specifies:

Bug Fixed
1.Fixed the WPA2 Security (KRACKs) Vulnerability

Is there any way we can have an updated firmware for V2 as well? This router is working perfectly fine and it would be a shame to have to discard it to the trash for what is essentially a software fix.

Thanks,

R
