Two DSL modem connection
We knew that in LAN cable length max is 100m and after that, the performance degrades and LAN cables are costlier than the twisted pair of copper telephone lines. In order to extend the LAN network, can we make use of LAN to twisted pair conversion using a DSL modem and back twisted pair to LAN conversion at another end using a DSL modem. Advantages are that twisted-pair cable transmits the data in analog form and distance can be in km range.
This idea is very much needed to extend the work from home options. Please help me to set up such network communications.
