Archer AX1500 terrible upload speeds
So I have recently upgraded my router since my ISP has upgraded my fibre speed. I just purchased the Archer AX1500 since I was under the impression it could handle my 200Mb/s up and 200Mb/s down speeds. I was very happy with everything until I started noticing some problems and so I ran a speed test. I get the full 200Mb/s download speeds expected but my upload is an abysmal 2Mb/s if I'm lucky.
After first going through with my ISP thinking it was on their side I tested connecting my computer directly to the cable coming into my building and could test the speeds without the router connected, the upload speed was perfectly fine like this. I therefore can only conclude that the router must be throttling me in some way. I tried playing around with the QoS thinking that might be causing it however it has been disabled the whole time and enabling it only seems to slow my download a bit while the upload stays the same or maybe is also slowing down.

Thanks again for all the help.
After an extended Teamviewer session we found out the cable I was using from the modem to the router had some issue with it. I'm unsure what is wrong with the cable since it works fine with an older router but it seems to have affected the handshaking between the router and modem.

Can we have some screenshots about the download and upload speed when the computer is connected to the cable from the wall, and when it is connected to the AX1500 via cable?
As you mentioned, please check and disable the QoS feature on the AX1500, or you may simply reset the AX1500 to factory default, and reconfigure it from scratch, then test the speed again without changing any advanced settings on it.
BTW, who is your ISP?

Hi @Kevin_Z
Thanks for the response. So changing QoS settings did not help. I will try resetting to factory defaults and setting it up again to see if that helps.
My speeds when connecting directly to the wall is as follows (note the 100Mbps cap is due to the network card on my laptop, my line speed is supposed to be 200Mbps up and down):
The speed I see when going through the router is as follows (the higher download is achieved now since my laptop's Wi-Fi card is more capable):
I actually made a slight mistake when creating this thread with regards to the router I am using. It is actually an Archer AX10 but from what I can tell that is exactly the same as the AX1500 so not sure about that.
I live in South Africa so not sure knowing my ISP would help out (it is Faircape just for interest sake).
Also these are the speeds I get when I revert to my older Archer C2 router which can't handle 200Mbps (hence the upgrade) but can clearly show it can achieve better upload speeds:
Thanks again for the help, hope this info is useful. I'll update when I get a chance to test out resetting the AX10.

Here and I also just wrote down what they each say underneath each picture.
The direct connection speeds:
Download = 92.64 Mbps
Upload = 93.91 Mbps
The Archer AX10 speeds:
Download = 203.36 Mbps
Upload = 1.91 Mbps
The older Archer C2 speeds:
Download = 90.25 Mbps
Upload = 75.48 Mbps

I just managed to try factory resetting the router and setting it up again without doing anything more than the bare minimum.
My speeds are still the same (about 200Mbps down but only about 2Mbps up). Unfortunately it seems I'll have to return this device unless some miracle fix is available.

That's great to know it. There are cases that the old cable work with some devices but doesn't work with the newer.
