Model: TL-WA901ND
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 160929

Hello.  I have a silly question but my boyfriend who normally deals with this is in hospital.

i have a TP-link MR600 4g router which cannot get a wifi signal to all of the house, so I want to connect a TLWA901ND device via Ethernet cable to broadcast the same wifi network to the rooms the main Router cannot reach.  I do not want a separate network as I have several smart devices that need to be on the same SSID .

My question is which mode does the TL-WA901ND need to be configured?  I know it's not "multiple SSID" but am confused as to which of the other operation modes I need?  : Access Point, Repeater, Bridge with AP, Client ?

i cannot connect the router and access point wirelessly as the signal is not sufficient,, so an Ethernet cable is already in,place.

Please can someone advise me ?

Thanks, June.

@Junipoos

Hey June

Hope you are well and welcome!

If you have it connected via a cable to the MR200, then choose    ACCESS POINT mode

Once that is done set the WiFi name (SSID) and password the same as your MR200, this should then work for you
