Hi, our senior engineers have located this problem already with the help of some users;
The issue is on the Deco APP, not the Deco device itself;
And we will release a new APP version which will fix this issue;
Please wait for a while for the new APP;
Thank you very much.

Hi, thanks for your feedback.
The official firmware 1.8.x which fixed this issue has not been released yet and It won't take too long;
You could still send APP feedback to the engineer's team to speed up the process:
How to send the feedback: Deco APP>Overview>help>contact us>suggestions> add the APP system log;
Thank you very much.

@TP-Link Tried to report in, but getting the message that the page does not exist.
I am also getting the risk of DNS hijacking message. Not much info is provided when getting the info.

I have the same problem: on my iPhone and iPad the WiFi assistant concludes there is a risk of dns hyjacking, but when I run the WiFi assistant on an Android phone, security is all good.
I am running 14.6 versions on iOS and iPadOS; No beta versions

Thanks for the feedback.
There is temporary maintenance of the Deco APP cloud platform;
And the Feedback entrance is ok now;
The new Deco APP version 2.8.4 for the IOS system to fix this issue is under the release process;
It is also suggested that you could continue to send APP feedback to the senior engineers directly to speed up the process;
Thank you very much.

Looks like a solution here: https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/263728
The ios versions of 14.5 and later confuses the Deco app when it does the "DNS hijacking test". A new version of the Deco app will fix it (hopefully).
