Internal network Max 480Mbs on a 1 Gb network
I recently upgraded to 1 Gbs with my external provider. After setting the providersrouter, I was curious to do a speed test. Surprisingly still at 480Mbs (a fraction higher than before). I was assuming Deco M9 (fully cabled connections) should be able to support higher speeds. Is something additional required to do so?

@richpriest strange enough, i don't see that option in my menu. It appears to be different than the manual... There should be an Yellow/Orange option.

It appears you run your Deco mesh in Access Point mode. You won't have QoS settings in this mode, but instead Deco will deliver best performance.
Have you tested your Internet speed using Deco "Test Internet Speed" button? The one that is in the middle of the top row of icons.

@Alexandre. I indeed tested the wifi performance. That resulted in the 480Mbs mentioned.
Best regards, Edward

@Alexandre. I just checked the speed with the app. My iPhone 11 is connected to the Deco Wifi. Also a generic Speedtest app gives similar results. Probably I first need to test the real spead of my networkmodem/router of the 1Gbs provider.

I have Deco mesh with M9 Plus as Main Deco. I run it in Access Point mode. My Internet connection is gigabit.
When I run speed tests using "Test Internet Speed" from Deco app, I never get more than 540Mbps. I suspect this is an issue with Deco app speed test, and you may be having it, too.
I verified that my Internet is gigabit. I have Windows laptop with gigabit network card, when I wire it directly to ISP router I get gigabit speed. When I connect Main Deco to ISP router, and laptop to second Ethernet port of Main Deco, I am also getting gigabit speeds using Ookla speedtest app on laptop.
That makes me believe the issue is with Deco app speed test. Main Deco by itself is getting gigabit from ISP router and passing that gigabit to my laptop wired to that M9.
On my Android smartphone connected by WiFi to Main Deco, in ideal testing conditions and after very many tries, the best speed I've ever got is 630Mbps.
In everyday "real life" testing, WiFi speeds I am getting on smartphone connected to Main Deco are between 300-500Mbps. I could run speed test and get an amazing 550Mbps and when I repeat it immediately after I could be getting 300Mbps.
This is to be expected from WiFi.
I've got my gigabit Internet as a free upgrade from no longer offered 300Mbps by my ISP, but when they raise prices next time, I may downgrade to 500Mbps.
