Archer AX6000 reported internet speed slower after 1.2.1 Build 20210205 rel.12759(4555) update
I have a full fiber connection from my ISP. Before the firmware update I was getting over 800Mb/s down and over 95Mb/s up. Following the firmware update I am now regularly getting less than 300Mb/s down. I have done the usual tests of disconnecting everything but a hardwired laptop to perform the tests, checking with the router speed test and speedtest.net directly.
I have also switched out the AX6000 with the router provided by the ISP that is reports, download 928.2 Mb/s and upload 110.6 Mb/s.
In addition to this I have now configured the ISP router and set the AX6000 Internet settings with a dynamic IP setup. Testing the ISP router still reports over 900Mb/s whilst the AX6000 is reporting much less than this.
Any ideas what might be causing the router to run so much slower than it was?

Please check the QoS settings on the AX6000, ensure it is correctly configured:

Please try to reset the AX6000 to factory defaults either by pressing the RESET button or doing factory defaults via its web interface page, then reconfigure it from scratch, leave all the settings by default, just set up the internet and wireless security, then run the speedtest again.
BTW, ensure there is no special application running on the computer when you are testing the speed, as we found some application may limit the speed, you can check this:

Having performed a full reset (via the Backup & Restore -> Factory Restore option), re-added the internet connection details and added the cloud connection security credentials, I can confirm that the internet performance report is still the same, reporting less than 50% of a the available speed as reported by the ISP.
Current configuration:
ISP Router: Wifi service disable; Internet configured with PPPoE requirements, using ISP DNS
TPLink: configured as Dynamic IP; DNS testing with IPS issues and using 8.8.8.8
Performance reporting from ISP Router > 900Mb/s
Performance reporting from TPLink < 450Mb/s
I have also testing with the TPLink connected to the Fibre converter Cat5e connection, setting Internet to PPPoE and using ISP provider credentials and still reporting <450Mb/s.

How about the QoS setting on the AX6000, is it on the Standard mode? Please kindly refer to this article to double confirm:

Have you tested this speed on different computers or phones? We have reported the issue to the support engineers, they will likely reach out to you via email to continue to troubleshoot your issue.

@Kevin_Z following the router factory reset, the QoS values where set to default values and I had not changed them. Therefore it was set to standard mode, obtaining speed details from the Internet. I will try setting them manually and see if this makes any difference.
Thanks again for your assistance.

I only found this thread after I've created mine https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/521166
But basically, I have the exact same issue. Was there a resolution to it?
