Deco x60 - Disable 2.4G
Hi,
I have the following structure of the configuration of my two Deco X60, When I try to disable 2.4G network of my Wifi, I lost all the network. Am I doing something wrong? Is it possible to do this because I want to use only 5G network.

Hi, it is ok to turn off the 2.4ghz and leave 5ghz only.
It seemed like the Deco X60 currently stopped broadcasting 5ghz signal;
could you please help me run the following test:
1. enable the guest network for 5ghz only with a different SSID and check on your devices whether the new SSID show up;
2. download the Wi-Fi analyzer on the smartphone and check whether this SSID is detectable and if yes, what are the current channel and channel width;
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

I just to do that test and I can't see the guest with that SSID using only 5G. according with the specifications of Deco X60 this support 5G, or it is not available yet ?? ...
Also I saw my current devices connected and there is one of them that it is using 5G ... but all the rest not but they support 5G

Hi, Deco X60 supports both 2.4ghz and 5ghz.
By the way, what are devices that failed to detect the 5ghz signal and may I know the model number and operating system of these devices?
And could you please download the Wi-Fi Analyzer to check the current wireless channel of the 5ghz and maybe the rest of the devices are not supported the current channel;
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

Hi, Thank you very much for your kind reply.
I would like to forward your case to the senior engineers and please have a check of your email box.
By the way, currently, there is only one device (android 3) connected to the 5ghz now, right?
--May I know the model number and operating system on this device?
Can I also have a picture of the reset result on the Wi-Fi analyzer?
Thanks a lot and wait for your reply.

Hi,
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Both of your smartphones are Red MI and I also searched from their community that other users had the same issue before, such as:
https://c.mi.com/thread-1915074-2-1.html
As for the wireless adapter(I guess the model is Archer T2U), since the 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same SSID, it is normal that it would jump to 2.4ghz sometimes;
You could update the following driver to see whether it helped or not:
For Archer T2U v3:

Maybe this is a specific case for that devices because in my cellphone I can see without issues the 5G networks and also connect to this. Even I just to enable the 5G of the router of my ISP and I can see it. the only problem is with the Deco x60. Check the images

Hi, thanks for your kind reply.
I see that all the 5ghz networks that mobile phone have detected are on band 4(channel 149-165), none at band 1(36-44);
And I suppose Deco X60 happens to be on band 1, which might cause the current issue;
I will also report your case to the senior engineers for further check and please wait for a while;
Thank you very much.
