AX73 - Cannot use white list access control
AX73 - Cannot use white list access control
Deal All,
I always use white list access control to limit device to connect to my router but after I buy tp-link ax73 and change to use ax73, Before I add mac address to white list, everything work fine buu after I manual add mac address to white list access control and restart router, my device cannot be connected to wifi.
Reproduce Step:
1. Make sure device can be connected to router wifi.
2. Open http://tplinkwifi.net in browser and login
2. Turn on access control in security menu
3. Check white list option
4. Manual add device mac address to the list
5. Click Save
6. Restart router
Actual Result: My device in the list cannot be connected
Expected Result: Only device mac address in the white list can be connected, if it is not in the white list, cannot connect to wifi
Please help me to configure to use white list if this is not an issue

Hi,
I don't know how the configuration GUI looks on your AX73 with current firmware (can you post a picture?), but when changing to Whitelist mode for the first time on my AX50 I have to click "Save" right after I select "Whitelist", because otherwise the configuration page will not switch to Whitelist-mode and it will keep showing the table where devices are added for blacklisting.

@woozle , I already clicked on save button and this feature works fine after click save.
But, If you restart router by turn off/on or click reboot menu, after router is restarted, I cannot connect to wifi again.
The key point: you have to restart your router.

@STN , Before I install this firmware, I've question, Because my router is Thailand model, Is it possible to install firmware from other country (EU, JP) ?

Can you confirm if it is an EU version or US version? Please check this on the router bottom label.
If it is a US version, please DON'T install that firmware on your device. We will soon confirm this issue, and will provide you a solution.

@Kevin_Z , Thank you for your response, I'll confirm you on Saturday.
As check in tp-link Thailand website (https://www.tp-link.com/th/support/download/archer-ax73/#Firmware), it is US version. but I'll see and confirm it again.
As Talk with local support (TP-LINK Thailand), They try to investigate on their router (AX73) but they cannot reproduce it.
