Thanks, I just got beta for my nat boost issue - 1.5.5 Build 210219 Rel.35914n(4555), seems Yours is newer :(.
And Yours just removed CWMP Settings menu and didn't add any new functionality?

BTW, just upgraded to 1.5.7 Build 210308 Rel.60033n(4555) and CWMP Settings menu with CWMP and Inform sections are still there.

Where did you download that firmware?
The last one available on the page is the Archer C80 (US) _V1_210128 which is previous to this discussion and the beta sent to me.

But this is for EU (4555), seems US (5553) version is not (yet) available.

As I don't need OpenMesh and as 1.5.7 does not have switch to disable it (will be available in future firmware), I just downgraded to the beta and didn't loose any settings.
So, if You don't need OneMesh, just downgrade to the beta and that's it.

When I complained because I did not understand how from a beta version to a non-beta version the router take the setting that was before the beta, they answered me:
"When you upgrade the firmware, it will flash the firmware. You can refer to format the system. So when you upgrade firmware, all the module on the official firmware will add on the flash, and it will have the CWMP.
For the configuration file, we don't want customer has to set it again after upgrading, so we need to save it on the flash. After upgrading, reload it.
The setting you have set is saved in the flash, the info of the CWMP you have set will be hidden. And after you upgrade the firmware which has included the CWPM, it has matched the keyword, so it will load again".
My answer was:
"Everything would be simpler, clearer and more transparent if in the user manual there were information about the CWMP settings as well as in the web emulators and also there was an explanation about why cannot disable Inform in the normal way just moving the jumper to off".
I don't need One Mesh to so I have returned to the beta and will continue until it is clearer. My confidence has dropped too much because this is not clear enough so that anyone can understand it without having to ask support.

As INFORM and CWMP are built in and probably some users are using them and as other users can disable them, I guess that TP-Link won't remove these options at all, support just messed up with You, I'd say this is communication error.
As my C80 is behind external router and as I have disabled INFORM and CWMP, I actually don't care about them. :)

The point is that INFORM cannot be disabled except by putting a fake ACS URL. This is what they should correct, or explain why it happens.
Meanwhile go back to beta.
