AX6000 Access Point mode: No IPv6 Autoconfiguration for WiFi clients

When I connect my Windows 10 Surface Book 3 by wired ethernet to my AX6000 then I can see that IP6 Stateless Autoconfiguration sets up IPv6 configuration, and IPv6 is indicated as working (IPv6 test - IPv6/4 connectivity and speed test (ipv6-test.com)). Connected by WiFi there is no IPv6 routing.
Why do I get IPv6 autoconfiguration on the LAN and not WiFi? If I use a wired ethernet adapter I see the same behaviour using my Android phone.
My AX6000 in Access Point mode with the (IPv4) DCHP server turned on. My ISP is BT in the UK, and I have their SmartHub 2 router/gateway.

If I connect the same computer to the same AX6000 using WiFi then I can see there is no gateway for IPv6 traffic, and public IPv6 tests show that I do not have an IPv6 link (IPv6 test - IPv6/4 connectivity and speed test (ipv6-test.com))

Thank you. I have two ISPs available to use - I can switch between a Virgin Media Hub 3.0 or a BT Smart Hub 2.0. The BT hub does have a DHCP server. Both hubs have Ipv4 DHCP turned off in my setup, and ipv4 NAT turned on.
(VM does not support IPv6 at all.)
I can avoid the problem that I described in the first post (no IPv6 auto-configuration for wireless clients of my AX6000) if I change the Allocation Mode setting in the BT hub from "Stateless" to "Both".
