Hi, I have one power line extender. The trouble is that some of my smart device families need to be on the same network to function (e.g. weather module and weather station). If I buy a second powerline extender, can I set it so that it had the same WiFi network as the first?

More powerline extenders will not be a problem.
Devices that connected to powerline extenders by WiFi or by cable are all in the same network as router is the only DHCP server which assign IP address to your clients.
Phones, laptops, smart devices and ect., they all get IP address from main router and they are under the same network.
