Model: Archer AX10
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I have the Archer AX10(US)_V1.2_201230   The latest firmware.  I am ONLY using IPV4 internet and do not really use IPV6.  The router interface show that the router itself has an IPV6 address

I have a test enviroment with VOIP phone Yealink and server windows 2012. The windows server run Dhcp the router TPlink Ax10 have SIP APG off Upnp off only 1 port forwarding to server at 443 for VPN via SSTP.

Port scan from a IPv4 internet was fine only 1 port open 443 when I run port scan.

However when I run the port scan from a IPV6 device, sudden the port scan showing port 21 80 443 554 1723 all open on my IP. The router has remote management off no FTP running anywhere I can see VPN on router also off. Upnp off so nothing should be able to punch hole and open port. I am at a lost.

This is something weird with the router not blocking it own IPV6 I think.

Never mind guys false alarm, figured out that it is not router but possibly something to do with an ONT.  Thank you for explanation.

@Net_Guy

Have you disabled IPv6 form the router menu ? Try that if you haven't and see if any difference:

@Ivaylo mine is off definitely, howerver my iPv6 Lan have Assigned type (4 choices): ND poxy, DHCPv6, SLAAC+stateless DHCP (which have a radio button active next to it), SLAAC+RDNSS.   can you briefly explain, what are these choices mean, mine have the default as the SLAAC+stateless DHCP.  Address Prefix is blank, but right bellow that in the field Address is a full IPV6 address FE8.....

@Net_Guy

Yeah, my settings there (IPv6 LAN) are the same as yours. My screenshot is just an example for disabling IPv6 Internet.

For the Assigned Type options you can read here:

Have a look at this thread as well.
