Firmware Version :

ISP : telenet.be

I installed the TP-WS510U in connection with a HP Color Laserjet 1600. The print request starts correctly but apparently the print spooler is not stopped which results in a continuously printing of the print job. Has someone any experience with this type of printer or the problem. The printer appears in the list of compatible printers from TP-Link.

Um, do you have the same issue when the printer is connected to the computer directly or when you print on another laptop wirelessly?

When then printer is connected directly through the USB cable there is no problem at all.
The firmware fersion of the TP-Link device is 6.04.48T-0021-168.
I notioced that there is a newer version available 6.04.48T- 0022-168.
Would it be wise to upgrade tot he newest version ?

Hi everybody,
I finally found the solution after many trials. Simply by unchecking the bi-directional funciont in the port property seemed so solve the problem, however I do not know what the consequence of that may be ? We will see.

The Bi-directional is used when the printer has the ability to report ink levels, paper jams etc. By turning it off all that is likely to happen is that you you will not get a notification of those events. In other words you can can send data to your printer, but with Bidirectional turned off the printer cannot send data back to your PC.
