VPN Express shows on son’s insight. Why?

I cancelled my Express VPN service back in October 19 and have only recently purchased Deco M5 kit, yet when I look at the insights tab on my son's profile it lists Express VPN as his most active site or service. Any ideas why this could be the case? What am I missing?

Hi, can I have a picture of the insight of the profile?
--and please also go to insight>history>click the express VPN access link and block this website here;
And Could you please test on your own device via 3/4G data to see whether the Express VPN service is still active?

thanks for the reply. Attached is an image of my son's insight profile. I have blocked the service as suggested and will monitor the response.
when I log into my Express VPN app iI am immediately presented with a screen telling me my subscription has expired. I'm not quite sure how I can test to see if the service is still running?

@Redchris It sounds like a vpn client is installed on a device somewhere.

Excuse my ignorance but I'm not particularly well versed in these things. How can the client work if I no longer have a paid up subscription?

@Redchris if it is trying to ping home, or use it's DNS, or something like that, then it'll connect to their domain which is how it appears in a list on a system not installed until months after you stopped using it.
Things to check:
- Anything to do with ExpressVPN installed on your son's devices.
- Check the IP address configuration of those devices (how to do this will totally depend on the type of device)
