Hi, would the CPU load back to normal when we refresh the web UI?
Could you please draw me a picture of your network structure, such as ISP modem—main Deco, and then?
How many devices would connect to the Deco units?
Thank you very much and wait for your reply.

Hi there. Hope ur safe and sound.Thx for ur reply.
After refreshing web ui cpu load comes to 0% but in a sec it again goes to 100% ! but again in later sec it goes to 30% or 70%. But my network structure is like- iSP>Deco m4(1st unit)>My PC(Ethernet)>Deco m4(2nd unit via mesh network from 1st unit no ethernet connection). Wifi connected device-5 mobile>Tv that's it.
Do you need any info plz knock me..

@Choklate
I am having the same issue.
CPU load constantly spikes to 100% and causes constant wifi connectivity issues.
I would really like a fix for this issue.

I'm here having the same exact issue with my deco M4R's v2 ___ 1.4.3 Build 20200918 Rel. 74289
I set one of them as a router and connected a switch to it to feed my other 4 deco's via ethernet cables and i'm getting 100% CPU use almost all of the time on the main deco (router) and even the other units, I also tried to set them as access point's only with the main router tp link ac1900 v3 but i'm still getting CPU spikes to 100% on all the deco units.
I think this is a hardware limitation because sometimes I can't even open the webUI its not loading or if change something in the settings it tells me that the (operation failed).

@Choklate where do you get the CPU usage information?

hi. You could check the CPU usage on the web interface via http://tplinkdeco.net
I have also got your request for the beta firmware of M4 about the signal source issue; did you want that beta firmware because of the CPU issue?
If yes, I am afraid that it would not help you with the current issue.
For further assistance, could you please help me check the following information:
I can see that there are 9 Deco M4 under your TP-Link ID and could you please provide me a picture of the network topology?
When the CPU reached 100% if refreshing the web UI, did it come back to normal, then get back to 100% in a short time?
Except for the web UI unreachable, is there any other noticeable issue with the Deco M4?
By the way, how many devices at home would connect to the Deco system?
Thank you very much.

Yes, I was hoping it will fix the CPU usage but if its not gonna solve the problem then I don't need it.
Yes, I have 9 deco M4R .. 1 of them is the main router connected via PPPoE, 4 of them are connected via Ethernet, and 4 are connected via WiFi as shown in the picture above.
I have around 33 devices connected to the deco's: (7 laptops, 4 iPads, 2 TV's, 1 PS4, 1 PS3, 1 PC, 16 Mobile phones, 1 Eufy robot vacuum).
For the CPU usage I don't need to refresh the webUI, it happens in real time. I have a video attached down below to show the CPU usage spikes.
The picture above shows the error I get when just trying to open the WebUI.
Aside from this issue sometimes when i'm surfing the web I notice a delay in loading the web pages so I did a ping test on the main router (M4R deco) and noticed that sometimes the ping spikes to > 100 - 400 ms.
Those are the issues I noticed so far.
I really hope the stability and performance of the M4R deco gets improved because its clear that the units are struggling with the performance.
