AX1800 Wi-Fi6 router never auto attempt reconnect in PPPoE connection, after disconnected?
The problem is every time disconnected from ISP (PPPOE), it must manually restart the router, otherwise it will never reconnect to the internet,(I have tested few times) also i couldn't find the settings in the router to change this, if anyone knows there is such settings, please let me know, thank you very much!
If there hasn't that setting, i really hope we can get a Firmware update soon, this is a very basic function for any router in 20 years ago.
Thanks every body!

You can try on Manual with Max idle time 0, as well:
If the issue still persists then try to set these and test:

I have just tried everything,
1, In Manual mode, set the Max Idle Time: 0 , it won't retry attempt. All public IP and DNS server stay empty, after disconnected.
2, In auto mode it so strange, some how the router will display the public IP address and DNS even don't have connection, and it will just stay the same status forever, disconnected.
I did factory restore it and it still the same issue, I believe this is a system bug.

Thanks @Ivaylo for checking and reminding.
Who is your ISP? What if you login to the web interface of the AX1800, go to WAN page and hit disconnect, then connect, will it connect back?
How often does this issue happen? Please show us the DHCP lease time setting on the AX1800, thanks.

Hey, my ISP is Kcom (fiber services), in East Yorkshire(UK).
Go to the network connection setting page manually click the DISCONNECT, then click the CONNECT it will reconnect after 30 seconds to 1 minutes. However every time when it disconnected, on this page it still show as it connected, there shows the Public IP address and the DNS server, and the CONNECT button is gray, and the DISCONNECT button it still blue, but when i trying to click the DISCONNECT it nothing happens.
This issue it only happen when the WAN connection has disconnected, include the unplug and then plugin again or the ISP side has some work on the connection, it won't reconnect,
I think the issue is when this router is powered on if the PPPoE connection is unavailable, it will stuck as offline, it won't auto attempt reconnect, the only fix is to reboot it, and make sure the PPPoE is ready for connect before it booted
This is the local DHCP setting as default:
