tpPLC 2018 (v 2.2.3149.112) shows a picture of an f in a rectangle and i in a circle, then remains
When I open tpPLC I see the image below and nothing more. It doesn't continue to load even after 30 minutes of waiting there. Windows task manager shows the application is running normally, not frozen. The image highlights when hovered over, but nothing happens when I click it.

@TP-Link, newest version works fine.
I was using a previous version by choice, the older version still shows me the link to open up the web interface of the unit directly, newest doesn't have this feature (purposely left out or forgotten). I am aware that I can reset the unit, connect directly to a PC, set the IP address manually so on and so forth.
Additionally, I figured out that this is Adobe Flash related, older versions were a Flash OCX library with a Win32 front-end. Even setting the mms.cfg didn't work, if I set the date to any day before Jan 12, 2021, it works, so I know now that it is related to Adobe's internal killswitch which is disables any Flash app after Jan 12th 23:59:59.
Thank you!
How do I mark the thread solved?
