When can we expect an update from the Developers Team?

The Backhaul over Ethernet implementation suggestion is already been forwarded to that team since April (7 months ago!) accordingly to this thread.

Why does it all takes so slow from that team to come back to us, the customers?

@Kevin_Z uhhhg. I bought a tp-link router as my old archer worked like a gem. But without a wired backhaul the ASUS networks are just plain better. With no intention of considering ethernet backhaul then I guess it's refund time.

I suppose I should have done more research before just trusting tp-link to be on the ball.

My condolences for your frustration with OneMesh.  I too am dumbfounded as to why TP Link is withholding ethernet backhaul support from OneMesh range extenders.

Having noticed that you purchased an RE200 for your network, I assume you may be willing to accept another Wifi 5 solution.  If so, you may be interested in a working solution  that I posted in the OneMesh Ethernet Backhaul thread.  Please read the post carefully.  The solution uses the TL-WPA8631P powerline adapter but does not use any powerline network.  

The caveat is that it only supports Wifi 5 / AC (no Wifi 6 / AX for mesh nodes).  I still think it's worth it to get 802.11k+802.11v roaming over wired ethernet backhaul.  In my experience, the real world wifi performance difference between Wifi 6 (AX) and Wifi 5 (AC) is still marginal (or even nonexistent in the case of AC only devices).  Nonetheless, my main (AX73) router continues to support Wifi 6 / AX to provide the bulk of my wifi coverage while two TL-WPA8631P adapters supplement the wifi network with Wifi 5 / AC mesh nodes. 

Hope this helps you and/or anyone who is looking to add OneMesh to their network but with wired ethernet backhaul support.

I'm returning my AX6000 and multiple AX1500 since one mesh doesn't support Ethernet Backhaul. I mistakenly assumed that this would obviously be a feature.

I have an AX90 router, but, why does TP-Link not adjust the Deco's software that you also use them as a range extender with ethernet backhaul for OneMesh?
