Website says the ethernet port on the the RE315 is 10/100, is that correct? That turns a potential 1200Mbs device into a 100Mbs device when using ethernet as a backhall and it's half my internet connection speed (which is nearly the slowest I can get here!)

Hi, I am afraid yes.

RE315 has the 10/100 fast Ethernet port.

And the AC1200(2.4 GHz (300 Mbps) and 5 GHz (867 Mbps) is the wireless link speed, not the final internet download speed.
