Archer A6 Wifi Faster than Ethernet
Archer A6 Wifi Faster than Ethernet
I recently switched from cable internet to fiber 500Mb Down, on wifi I'm getting around 250, and on ethernet Im getting less than 100Mb down. Lan transfers to my home server are also limited to these speeds when they were not before I got the Archer A6. I have Tried all the NAT Settings, QoS settings, and nothing has made a difference please help.

@Ivaylo Is it for the negotiation speed?

@Ivaylo yeah I do, it's a Netgear, unmanaged, 8 port, gigabit switch

Can you check your home server LAN settings to see what's the associated speed of the LAN card ?

@Ivaylo it's a gigabit port on the mobo, I had 1Gb transfers before the new router using the switch

OK, So the connection between the A6 and the Netgear switch is 1gbps (seen from the screenshots), between Netgear switch and your home server is 1gbps (you've confirmed), but you get under 100mbps when downloading to home server ?
Do you have this setting enabled (Advanced=>System Tools=>System Parameters):
Did you reboot the switch to test if any difference ?
