Model: Archer VR2800
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: 0.3.0 0.9.1 v006c.0 Build 170809 Rel.42095n

Just wondering on the correct sequence for firmware upgrade here.

The "Upgrade Firmware" option in the web interface shows no upgrades available, but appears to be at least three upgrades on the TP Link website (Australia).

Do I need to up grade individually one at a time from the lowest version to the latest version, or does the latest version cover all cumulative updates?

As usual, thanks in advance!

There shouldn't be any specific upgrade path. For particular devices there is a restriction for downgrading though, which is noted in the FW version description.

Further issue has arisen here.  Appreciate any forthcoming help.

Manually installed Archer_VR2800V1_0.5.0_0.9.1_up_boot(201103)_2020-12-01_17.10.50.bin and now can't sign back into 192.168.1.1

Password I set up is being rejected, default password which came with device is being rejected, after only 3 attempts an error message comes up - "tried 5 times, now wait xxx seconds"

Does this upgrade wipe all the passwords - default and the changed password?

And how do I get back into 192.168.1.1?

Thanks!

(Also an ask for the forum;  search by "my posts".  Also an option to have my posts emailed to me. ("Replies to my posts" is enabled)  .Or have I missed those settings?)
