I bought a RE305 and did the setup step by step.  but there are 2 problems, whenever i get home my cellphone doesn’t automatically connect to the repeater, the internet signal in my room is horrible, and even with the RE305 it doesn’t improve at all.  in fact, it only connects if I open the Tether app.  

Shouldn't it connect automatically?  

 

when i open the tether app it connects, but the internet gets worse, making me disconnect and continue using my internet without the repeater.  

 

my house is 90m2 and the repeater is in the socket 3.5m from my modem.  I am dissatisfied with the product.

Good day,

Could you please help check the following information:

1. Did the RE305 have the same SSID as the main router?

2. Are you able to manually connect the SSID of the RE305 without opening the Tether APP?

3. Could you please try to update the following beta firmware to have a look:

Hi,

 

1) SSID name

Route: Net_2GHz_2.4GHz

RE305: Net_2GHz_2.4GHz_EXT

 

2) Sometimes it connects automatically, I can say that in 10% of cases.

 

3) I Will try update 

 

Ps: I realized that when I am connected with the RE305 the internet is very slow.
