Hi Guys,

I just bought AX11000 from Costco at discounted price and I am curious when the mesh firmware will be available.

After asking Kevin, I got this answer:

"As confirmed with our R&D, the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000 is expected to be released in the late of December or early 2021. "

So grab another AX11000 before the costco promotion ends!

Hi, the developer does provide a beta version for the Onemesh firmware for the AX11000, you can install it on yours if you want to build up an Onemesh network with an existing Onemesh range extender. Get the download link from the below thread:

https://community.tp-link.com/en/home/forum/topic/261318

The official version will be available soon, you can wait for the official version if you don't want to use the beta firmware.

Thanks a lot.

Don’t hold your breath. I have been waiting since March 2019 after I bought 2 of these in January 2019 and was told it would be out in a few months as every other brand had this feature except TP-Link and now we are in March 2021 !!!!!

Same with the RE650 V2. I bought 3 RE650 V1’s and then was told these were the best TP-Link has but will never be mesh compliant and I will have to wait for the V2. This was in December 2017 and yes we are in March 2021 !!!!!

@IbelieveWIcanFI

Anything Kevin Z says needs to be taken with a liberal dose of skepticism. We've been waiting for a very, very long time for the firmware and I don't expect it anytime soon.
