Model: Archer AX6000  
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version: Archer AX6000(US)_V1_200714

I have tried to setup a new AX6000 at home, Things that i have tried

 

 

1.- Follow the quick step guide with Tether app

2.- Set the connection with browser 192.168.0.1

3.- Disconnect the modem and connecting it again after waiting a couple of minutes connecting the AX6000 to the LAN port of the modem and power it on

 

Im able to communicate with the router and even run speed test but still led is in red and internet connections says not available

Is there a WAN IP address on the AX6000 after the configuration? If there is already an IP address, try to change the DNS server to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4, then reboot it and confirm.

 

If the internet LED is still orange, please follow the below instruction:
1. Unplug the modem’s power cord and unscrew the coaxial cable
2. Connect the modem to the Router’s WAN port and make sure the Router is powered on
3. Plug the power cord for the modem back in, but leave the coaxial cable disconnected.
4. Wait 3-5 minutes and reconnect the coaxial cable.
5. Wait for modem to reconnect and then check for IP and service.
