Archer C80 Won't Power Up
Hi.
I purchased my Archer C80 last July 2020. Yesterday, it suddenly stopped working (no lights, no wifi at all).
I tried to plug in at another socket hoping that my socket is malfunction and not the router, however still the router was not powering up.
Is there anyone here having the same problem with me?
Would it be ok for me to just walk in to the service center for checkup?
Thanks.

Hello,
Do you still use the original power adapter? Was there any power cut or bad weather or firmware upgrading before it stops powering on?
Try to hard reset it by holding the reset button or hole for 10s.
Are you able to access its web UI from a browser? What is the hardware and firmware version?
When and where did you buy this also? If nothing can make it power on correctly, you may need to contact the local tech support to check the warranty cause the device seems faulty:

Hi @Kevin_Z
I already tested in with another power adapter. None of them seems to work.
The last thing I did before the router failed to be powered up was to connect it with the TPLink TL-POE200 (POE adapter kit) at 12V/1A.
I went to the TPLink service center and got my unit replaced with the new one.
Should I suspect that my POE unit is defective? (not delivering the voltage and current as stated in the specs)
Thank you.

As per the specifications for both the C80 and the POE200, they should work with each other, while it is suggested to use the original adapter to power on the C80.
