Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.7 Build 20201010 rel.49458

Hi Team,

I need to build One Mesh setup at home with Archer C6 v2 router due to low connectivity at bedrooms and study room, please suggest which extender will support to configure OneMesh setup.

Thanks, Abhijeet S

@AbhijeetSalve

Here you can find the Range Extenders compatible. Since C6 is AC1200 capable, RE300 would be a good match.

Keep in mind that C6 should be in Router mode - OneMesh is not supported if the router is in AP mode.

Also you migh need to upgatrde your router FW to the latest one or at least one that supports OneMesh.

@Ivaylo

Thank for your update.

But RE300 is currently not available at TP Link & Amazon Site for Mumbai delivery.

Thaks, Abhijeet S

You can choose according to your preference from that list.

Hi @Ivaylo!  I was looking to create a OneMesh network based on an Archer C6 + TL-WA855RE but it seems not be working...  I named the repeater with the same SSID as the main router, but keeps disconnecting or giving low speed to devies...  Any hint?

TL-WA855RE is not on the list for OneMesh capable devices. In my previous post I pointed you to a link with all OneMesh capable devices from TP-Link.

So you can use that TL-WA855RE as a RE, but you can't make a OneMesh network with that one.

Make sure you are with the latest TL-WA855RE firmware. That's also valid for your Archer C6.

Don't change TL-WA855RE SSIDs to be the same as the Archer C6 and follow the user guide for the RE.
