Model: Archer C6
Hardware Version:
Firmware Version: 1.3.6

The TP Link router parental control has been a very helpful feature until now however there is a bug with it. The used time/ Time insight of devices gets reset to 0 when the router power is switched off and back On again which compromises the whole Parental control feature itself.

Hello, as far as I know, the insights and internet time will be cleared or reset to 0 once the router is restarted, this is the current design. If you want to monitor the insights or ensure the internet time is accurate, please don't reboot the router often.

@Kevin_Z My younger brother has figured that out and he reboots it to get more time on the wifi. Is there a way to stop the time insights going back to 0? If not kindly consider to put it in next firmware update.

As far as I know, this may not be achievable as all these data and settings are saved in the buffer memory of the router, and all will be cleared once the router is restarted.
