Model: Archer A7
Hardware Version: V5
Firmware Version: 1.0.16 Build 20201029 rel.43238(4555)

Hi All,

When setting up my Chromecast gen 3 on my WiFi, I keep getting an error saying that I need to turn off AP Isolation and enable UPnP. AP Isolation is disabled, UPnP is enabled and group key refresh is to 0 (which was another suggestion in another thread). None of these solutions have worked and I am unable to get the Chromecast connected.

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks

Nas

@nas.a

Hello, thanks for asking.

May I know how did you connect this Chromecast gen 3 to the network, is it connected to the 2.4GHz or 5GHz? Try to disable Smart Connect and Onemesh on the A7, then confirm again.

Please confirm if it can connect but fails to communicate on the network or it just quit connecting, kindly show us a screenshot about the issue, thanks.
