Same here.

 

It happened from time to time before, but since the last update i've been getting SEVERAL disconnects per day!

 

Logfile is generating more than 7000 (!) lines of errors over a period of 2 hours!

 

I'm getting more or less the same errors as you. 

 

 

This needs to be checked ASAP!

These are not log lines you are looking for. I have tons of these in my Deco M9 Plus Main node all the time, yet mine does not suffer from continuous dropouts and connectivity issues. 

 

Yet, while looking to see if I have those log lines you shared, saw something interesting in recent Deco logs:

 

Sat Oct 31 16:37:31 2020 daemon.notice netifd: Network device 'eth0' link is down

Sat Oct 31 16:37:33 2020 daemon.err wanDetection: port update : eth0

 

This might point at ISP issues I am having occasionally. Checking report from my Hitron cable modem/router to which Deco is connected in AP mode, saw this:

 

 

 

Definitely brief network connectivity loss from my house to cable network less than an hour ago from when I write this post.

Not caused by my ISP router in my case.

And my logfile isn't helping.

 

There's a TON of unclear (at least to me) info.

 

Since i bought this set only 6 months ago, i've decided to return it. 

So long tp-link...  Never again!

is the issue known?

 

can you upgrade tot beta software

can you downgrade to previous software

I'd say the issue is well known. Just look around on the forums. Plenty of users with random disconnects, lag, ping spikes, .... 

In some of these threads tplink replied, so they ARE aware. 

 

I wonder too if a firmware downgrade is possible. Does anyone know?

Any movement on this? My network goes to a crawl a couple times a week since the last firmware update. Very frustrating, I never used to have to reboot the units so often. frown

Hi,

Would the Deco blink red when the connection dropped out?

Did both the Ethernet and wireless connection have the instability issue?

And Have you tried to update the Deco M9 plus to the latest firmware 1.5.1?
