Deco M9 Plus - Dual LAN/WAN port - WAN load balancer/fail over feature
Hi Guys,
Can anyone tell me if i can use the 2x RJ45 ports for the dual internet uplink assigning them as load balancers and/or fail over?
If yes, what must be done to have the features activated?

Hello, as far as I know, the Deco device cannot work in that way to supply a dual-WAN connection.

Hi, you are correct, it will auto-detect the WAN connection when it is connected to the network, it then switches the other port for the LAN connection automatically, you cannot choose both as WANs or both as LANs.
Nide day.

@TP-Link_Deco
Thanks for the kind reply. In the user manual, it says dual LAN/WAN ports. Does that mean both ports are smart/auto sensing whether the connected network is LAN/WAN? Does that also mean i can only use 1x for LAN and 1x for WAN and i cannot use for 2x WAN or 2x LAN?
