hi all leds are on showing good signal , but I cannot connect anything as it will not recognise the password of my router as instructed ? Help

Did you set up the TL-WA850RE via WPS button?

And what is the model number of your home router?

If possible, please try to reset the 850RE, then set up via Tether or web interface instead;
