Archer VR600v Unstable WLAN
Hi,
I have a problem with my new router.
My devices keep losing their WLAN connection (LAN is stably connected).
A device normally connects to the Internet and has a stable connection, but the device keeps losing the Internet connection and can no longer connect to the WLAN. According to the display on the mobile phone, it receives an IP address, then nothing happens. This state then exists for 10-90 minutes.
Thanks in advance for any help :)

Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Sorry for the delay.
May I know how long have you had the modem and when did this issue start?
And where are you located?
Did both 2.4ghz and 5ghz have the same issue?
When the Wi-Fi dropped out, what is the IP address and default gateway on the mobile device and are you able to ping the LAN IP 192.168.1.1 of Archer VR600v ?
What did you do to recover the connection, restart the modem, or disconnect the Wi-Fi and connect it again?
Please also refer to this link to modify the wireless channel on the Archer VR600V:

Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Thank you for your answer and help.
I bought the device 2 months ago (08/24/2020).
The problems were noticed in the first week.
Im from Germany.
Yes, both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz have the same issue.
If the W-LAN fails, I have no connection to the network at all.
To get a connection again, I just have to wait (about 30 minutes).
I have now also taken over the settings from the link and see if something changes.

Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
How about now?
After changing the channels, Did the 2.4ghz and 5ghz still drop a lot?
If yes, please help me get the following information so later I could forward your case to the senior engineers;
- What is the IP address when the mobile device dropped the connection? And are you still able to ping the gateway?---if you could use a computer to run the test, which would be much better;
- Save the system log when the connection dropped;
Thanks a lot.

Hi,
Thank you for your help.
Since I changed the options the WLan does not drop out that much.
But the Conection is realy bad (Lan: Ping: 6 57Mbit/s / 11Mbit/s || WLAN: Ping 50 ~ 150 1 ~ 6 Mbit/s / 9 Mbit/s).
I don't know what i can do to improve the connection.
If you need other Information, just tell me.

Good day,
Thank you very much for your time and patience.
Sorry for the delay.
What about the speed of the 5ghz? Is it also 1-6 m/s?
Before we changed the channel, how much speed you are supported to get?
Could you please try to download the Wi-Fi analyzer to find the most clear and less interference channel, but keep the channel width 80mhz for the 5ghz to have a look?
Thanks a lot.
