Model: Archer VR600
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n

My VR600 V2 shipped with 0.2.0 0.9.1 v0074.0 Build 170504 Rel.68210n  firmware

On the Firmware update page on the router it says it is on the latest version but on the main support page for the router it shows

Archer VR600(EU)_V2_200226

and

ArcherVR600(EU)_V2_200701

which fix a security bug and improve performance.

So are these upgrades for my router or not? If so why isn't the router picking up on them?

Thanks

Steve

@MooseMan66

Good day.

Thank you very much for your time and patience.

Archer VR600(EU)_V2_200226, this one is much better and it is an official firmware.

ArcherVR600(EU)_V2_200701 is much newer but it is a beta firmware which might have unknown issues;

Thanks a lot.

@Sunshine

OK thanks - but why doesn't the router see this upgrade? As it fixes a security issue shouldn't the routers be finding it for themselves rather than us having to go looking?
