Hi, everyone. First post - hope it's in the right place.
I have an existing wired/wireless network based on a competing manufacturer's router (rhymes with "get beer"). It all works acceptably and runs without intervention. It has MAC filtering and IP address reservation both turned on, uses WPA-PSK [TKIP] security and G&B on channel 11.
I'm trying to link my PVR, Blu Ray and Raspberry Pi devices to the internet, so I've bought a TP-Link WR841N to use its WDS bridge feature. Before connecting this lot to the device, I've connected my laptop just to make sure internet access is working. I've disabled the wireless on my laptop and connected it to the WR841N via ethernet. I've checked the "Enable WDS Bridging" and put in the credentials for the GetBeer wireless, and turned off DHCP on the WR841N. On the GetBeer, I've assigned an IP and enabled the MAC of the WR841N .
It is working partially: I can use VNC and RDP to access other PCs, and I can browse the network and copy files. What I can't do, though, is get on the internet.
Is there a setting I need to change for the TP-Link to use the WDS bridge for its internet access?

If it's possible you can type IP address permanently in computer or server.

Thanks again for your efforts, Jimasek. I made a mistake, it wasn't IP Reservation that was causing the problem, it was MAC Filtering.
