TL-SG1016D 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch
Just got a replacement TL-SG1016D 16-Port Gigabit Ethernet Switch, to replace the EXACT same model of these switches that failed after about 4 months.
I've Just plugged the new one in and although the corresponding lights blink, I am unable to connect (to the internet) ANY of the TEN devices, (physically) connected to the switch.
Doing a simple "swap out" with another "switch" confirms all the connections/cables are OK, I simply have more devices, than the working switch can handle?
I don't think these is are any configuration issues involved as the switch is unmanaged. Power is ok as the unit "blinks"
This is the 3rd switch (same model) I have now had in the past 18 months. I can't believe the failure rate is so high ?
Is there anything else I can try ?
