Hi Deco team,

I would like to know if possible to grant backhaul connection between my M9 and other M9/S4 with general Powerline adapters?

e.g.

Home Broadband Modem -> Main M9 (2xRJ45) <-> PowerLine <-> Electric Cable <-> PowerLine <-> other P9/S4

If Yes, can I connect multiple DECO decos with PowerLine adapters?

Thanks

Hi, just to verify, are you inquiring about the Deco P9 or M9?

Deco P9/P7 can't pair with the powerline devices and then build a PLC backhaul, while Deco can still build an Ethernet backhaul through the powerline connection.

Good days.

Hi, the question is for M9 or S4! P9 is out of stock everywhere. So I am thinking to buy some cheap powerline adapters for building connections between my M9 devices and maybe S4 as well. Thanks!

Hi,

Yes it works very well for me. I added TP-Link model AV1300 TL-PA8010P KIT powerline adapters to create the ethernet backhaul between main deco M4 and satellite node. My wifi speed has doubled when connecting to satellite node wifi (downstairs). My main node and internet router is upstairs and now both has same wifi speeds. I have 3-phase power supply with 1 DB box so I have to use AV2 compliant powerline. If you have single phase power then u can get AV compliant adapters which are cheaper. It also depends on your house electrical wirings condition.
