TP-LINK RE650 / TKIP - AES ISSUE STILL UNRESOLVED !
HAVE SEEN SEVERAL ANSWERS TO THE DANGEROUS USE OF TKIP VS AES ASKED BY SEVERAL USERS, YET NO ONE AT TP LINK HAS YET ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE WITH *** CLEAR AND CONCISE STEPS *** TO DISABLE TKIP AND ONLY ALLOW AES ENCRYPTION....
STOP TRYING TO BLAME USERS ROUTERS !! IT IS THE COMPLETE LACK OF CLEAR SECURITY OPTIONS ON TP LINK EXTENDERS THAT IS CAUSING THIS SERIOUS ISSUE, AND WE DEMAND YOU ISSUE A FIRMWARE UPDATE ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE ASAP, OR OFFER CLEAR AND CONSIDER INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DISABLE TKIP AND ENABLE AES ON THE EXISTING LATEST FIRMWARE ASAP !!!! THANK YOU.

Thank you. I was able to figure out the network security thing on my Mac desktop. Is says that it's using WPA2 Personal. This is the same thing it says when I'm connected to my main router which is configured to only permit WPA2-PSK(AES) connections.
