TP-LINK RE650 / TKIP - AES ISSUE STILL UNRESOLVED !
HAVE SEEN SEVERAL ANSWERS TO THE DANGEROUS USE OF TKIP VS AES ASKED BY SEVERAL USERS, YET NO ONE AT TP LINK HAS YET ADDRESSED THIS ISSUE WITH *** CLEAR AND CONCISE STEPS *** TO DISABLE TKIP AND ONLY ALLOW AES ENCRYPTION....
STOP TRYING TO BLAME USERS ROUTERS !! IT IS THE COMPLETE LACK OF CLEAR SECURITY OPTIONS ON TP LINK EXTENDERS THAT IS CAUSING THIS SERIOUS ISSUE, AND WE DEMAND YOU ISSUE A FIRMWARE UPDATE ADDRESSING THIS ISSUE ASAP, OR OFFER CLEAR AND CONSIDER INSTRUCTIONS ON HOW TO DISABLE TKIP AND ENABLE AES ON THE EXISTING LATEST FIRMWARE ASAP !!!! THANK YOU.

@Solla-topee Seriously, do you even HAVE a people capable of designing a firmware upgrade ? Because by the look of your cheesy, god awful, old 1980s style user menus, if looks like it was designed by a 16 yr old in India who is into retro-style design. Hire some good engineers, or outsource it to a firm who knows what they are doing, and stop being so cheap. Your BRAND NAME and up until lately, your REPUTATION and your BUSINESS are both AT RISK until these issues are resolved. Call my buddy at PC Mag to advise him of this issue, and next call is the tech desks at the WSJ, Wired and Forbes. #GetWoke

@hugo11 The Apple OS 14 Update that you claimed would remedy the SERIOUS Security flaws in your wireless products was TOTAL BS, as most of us techies already knew.. Upgraded to IOS 14 a week ago and NOTHING has changed. Have pulled your products and replaced them with Asus products, which offer the security and feature set users want and need. #YouBlewIt #EpicFAIL

For RE650， We do have beta firmware now and If you like, I could send you later.
And there would also be official firmware released in the future.
For anyone else who had been stuck with the TKIP issue with RE650, if you wanna try the beta firmware, please feel free to tag me here;
