R200 won't connect to internet
Spent ages with support and they said they would escalate my issue and respond in 2-3 hours. No one responded.
I cannot get the R200 to connect with my DSL.
I tried the Tether App on an iphone, the website on a windows 10 laptop with chrome, and the IP on a mac. Nothing works.
Tried resetting the extender. Didn't work.
Tried the WPS. Didn't work.
Any thoughts?
If someone could advise that would be much appreciated. I don't understand much of the terminology of the DNS and other stuff people have posted.

Good day.
What is the model number of the DSL router?
After setup, have you seen the 2.4GHZ and 5ghz lit up?
Is this the first time for you to set up the RE200?
Just in case that it is the password issue, please try to forget the router profile, and type the password again to check if you have input the right password;
Thank you very much and have a nice day.

@Solla-topee It's a brand new R200. I tried all of that but it will not find the 2.4 or the 5G. The only light is the power light. The DSL router is a Smart/RG model sr515sc. It's the first time I've tried to set it up. I don't know what you mean by "forget the router profile".

Hi,
Removing the existing router profile on the computer will help us to check if the password we use is right or not;
Such as https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/554/
(on the smart phone, you just need to long hold the SSID, then a window would pop out ‘delete or forget this network; after that, you might be asked to input the password of the home router again to reconnect;)
By the way, is there any access control or mac filtering on the home router?
Thank you.

@Solla-topee I honestly don't understand anything you've said. I'm am not a techie. I may have resolved the issue in another way, but cannot check until the morning. The speed seemed inconsistent, but I don't know yet. Can you please write back and explain your prior email in English, not techie, so I can understand what you are talking about?!
