Hi,
i want to setup a VPN to access my home network from internet.
I'm using Shrew Soft VPN client on W7 64 bit, as client.
Also if you know another free client, tell me, please.
How can I configure my tp-link 8970 home router to accept connection?

Hi.
It shows that TD-W8970 supports VPN Pass-Through( PPTP, L2TP, IPSec Pass-through) and IPSec VPN on the TP-Link website.
TD-W8970 cannot work as a VPN server for you to set up Remote Client to Site VPN connection.

Actually, if the router on the remote side also supports IPSec VPN, you can set up IPSec VPN connection between the two routers. Once you set up IPSec VPN connection, you can access your home network without using any VPN client software.
