Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

I was contacted by support at the weekend with a new Beta, which they think may resolve the reboot issue. I installed it saturday and it has been stable so far. Three days and at the moment 3 packet errors on the downstream, none on the up.

Got the same beta from support, which I promptly installed on Friday... Current uptime is 2days 22hours, but with 907 upstream packet errors so far.
Support also sent a follow up email chasing whether this has been installed and asking about reboots, I'm waiting a fair few days to see what happens. The devs must be optimistic as the reboot counter that was present in previous beta at bottom of screen has been removed.

@david-m That is great news. Do you think the reboot issue has now been completely resolved? How is the Wi-Fi performance?

lt seems to be. I'm now at 17 days without a reboot since installing 210619. For comparison my router reboot counter was over 70 on the April beta.
I'm almost at the point where I want to reboot to test its recovery and stability afterwards.
The WiFi has been stable too. I have about 20ms ping responses over WiFi to speedtest dot net.
There's about 40 devices on my network - roughly half wired and half WiFi. I have 2 OneMesh WiFi extenders and typically 5-10 devices would be split between the extenders.

So, after almost 14 days of uptime I hear the tell-tale sound of my wireless printer loosing wifi late yesterday night and yep the router had rebooted.
Can't see why the reboot counter has been removed.
