Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

I have 5 wired devices all through TP-Link home plugs(Lower PLC-VDSL Interference mode enabled), and about 25 wireless, a mix of 2.4 and 5 GHz. Incase it makes any difference, possible weird software issue, I have changed my local IP address range, changed my SSID and the WPA key, changed the DNS server to Cloudflare. I have a couple of virtual servers set up(NAT forwarding) and a dynamic dns, don't use USB sharing, QOS, VPN, IPTV, guest network or parental controls. I think everything else is default.
Using a BT Openreach filtered faceplate, only a single phone socket in the house, no extensions. No phone connected to the land line. The router is on a 6 way mains extension, cord is shorter than 1 meter, which is plugged into the wall socket through the pass through home plug.

I'd be happy if it didn't throw away the time on each restart so the logs made more sense.

Going back to the last official release again. The 210329 beta is similar or slightly worse for restarts.

@david-m Which release is this, David? Have you found it to be better than any of these beta versions we've all been grappling with.
It seems very quiet on here in terms of input from TP-Link support..
I'm finding we're getting several re-boots per day with 29/03 version. It's marginally better than the one I was on before, but not much.

I have gone back to the 201122 official release from the TpLink website for now.

I didn't try a beta from January - is it still linked somewhere?
Incidentally I am retrying the 210329 beta after a particularly bad day - 6 restarts on the official firmware release 201122

I was going to say I have a copy if you couldn't find a link. My DSL line just re-synced ten minutes ago after about 31 days. But still no reboot. Took about one minute to re-sync which is a little longer than usual.
