Archer VR2100 - Randomly reboots several times a day.
Hi,
Had the Arccher Vr2100 a few eeks now and it reboots itself several times during a 24hr period.
Firmware up to date and cannot see and kind of schedules in the settings that would reboot it.
The logs do not show anything obvious.
Do i have a faulty device?

That's good to hear. I think the latest beta firmware has improved the reboot issue but not fully resolved it. Do you have your Wi-Fi setup for Smart so the 2.4Ghz and 5Ghz frequency bands share the same SSID and passkey? Do you have many devices that use the 5Ghz Wi-Fi frequency band?

Sounds like you have a similar setup to me. I might try and disable smart mode to see if it helps once it crashes again. It would good to get another response from TP-Link on this issue.

I have also a OneMesh device, TP-Link RE300.

That is my plan is to roll out a mesh in the house but I want to make sure this router is rock solid before purchasing any more TP-Link gear. Is the RE300 device a good product?

My house is 230 m² and double floor and i don't have any wifi issue with this router and RE300.

My house is a similar size but over 3 floors so a mesh device would be useful. I am hoping TP Link can full resolve this reboot/crash issue with this modem router

I too have the same issue, all the lights go out & the router seems to reboot. I thought it may be overheating although it never felt hot so have it raised with a good 2cm underneath to let the air flow but still the same. I have just updated the firmware today. I hope it fixes it as I'm getting drop outs during work meetings everyday- which is simply not good enough.
if this doesn't work should I try the beta firmware I see you have distributed previously?
