Can't access WR840n via web browser, but can via Android app. Need to used advanced settings - HELP
To anyone who can help.
I bought a brand new TP Link - WR840n in SOuth Korea.
I could not do the setup via an internet browser, but was able to via the thether app on the play store.
Problem:
I have bluetooth devices messing with the wifi signal and need to change the chanel setting in the advanced options.
Troubleshooting
I have tried accessing http://192.168.0.1/ but i can't access the setup page via an internet browser (chrome, internet explorer, edge)
I get presented by the TP-link login page, but it does not log in. (see attached)
- I tried admin/admin + also router login details.
I checked on the website for a possible firmware update, but none is available for this model.
Anyway. I am no expert in setting up routers, but at least have been able to access the settings page while in South Africa.
Any HELP to gain access to the advanced settings for this router would be great. In Korea, no technician can speak English well enough to help in any way.
It has been a year now of trying to figure this out, please.
