Location / Placement Deco satellite (vertical vs horizontal)
Is there a specific reason NOT to mount a Deco satellite vertically to the wall??
(which may be the reason why there are no adapters from TP-Link available to mount them)
Will the strength of the signal of the main-Deco drop down dramatically if I mount it above a door in the central hall?

Hello, thanks for asking.
It is not suggested to mount the Deco M9 vertically, which will affect its wireless signal and coverage as the antennas are built-in horizontally.
Good days.

So vertical is not a good option. Will upsidedown positioning affects the WiFi coverage?
Kind regards,
Robin

My Satellite Deco M9Plus is mounted vertically, on the wall, about 1.0-1.5 meter above the floor. With my ISP providing 300-350Mbps, I am getting that speed on mobile devices connected to Satellite Deco.
So, in my personal experience, with ISP speed of under 400Mbps, Deco M9Plus vertical mounting is just fine.
You can find wall mount holders for M9 on Amazon.
