Model: Archer VR400
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: V2_0.6.0_0.9.1

I tried to upgrade my router archer vr400 from firmware v3 to the new firmware v3 but it failed.

Got message: file not excepted.

Thank you.

@MABMED

Good day.

Did you try to update the firmware of V2 to V3?

If yes, it is not acceptable,  you could only update from an older version of V3 to the latest version of V3, which means on the same hardware version.

While, if not from V2 to V3, but on the same hardware version, please check the following suggestions:

  1. Make sure the firmware you used  is bin file, not zip file;
  2. What is your current firmware and what is the firmware you wish to update;

Thank you!
