My samsung TV (UE65MU8100) which has 36 channel on 5 ghz won't find deco M4R 5 ghz channel when 2.4ghz is switched off. Is it possible to configure the channel on 5ghz on Deco M4R or do something that forces the TV to find Deco M4R SSID on 5ghz?

What is the region version of your Deco M4, is it US or EU?
Currently, the Deco M4 5G only works on band 1 and it doesn't support band 4 channels, do you mean your TV support both band 1 and band 4? If this is the case, it should be able to find the Deco 5GHz network.

The Samsung TV (UE65MU8100) manual does not say which channel it supports. Just says 5Ghz. Is there anyway to find out?
Question : how do I set the channel on M4R as in 1 or 4? Any firmware update regarding this anticipated?
