Hi I just got a router TP-LINK EC230-G1 from my fiber internet provider and was wondering how we can set the limit of network speed for certain device by mac address. I went to the admin page, the available options under QoS are as followed:

@kkl

Hello, thanks for the detailed information.

This TP-Link EN020-F5 seems a customized version for Service Providers in the local market, which means the firmware of the router might be self-designed by your ISP.

Generally, the support for this customized version will be covered by your ISP, and we suggest you contact your ISP first to check if there is any limitation on the firmware.

Thanks.

Thanks @Kevin_Z, I wasn't aware it was the customized firmware. Does the router have that limit speed option in original firmware? Mayb I could try installing the original firmware. Otherwise, I might consider buying a new router.
